Twenty four years ago I decided that I wanted to do something completely different from my profession as a school teacher. It was then that I chose to study reflexology. Although there was an academic requirement, what attracted me most to reflexology was that it was a literally “hands on” therapy. I studied in London at the Practitioner’s School of Reflexology, and became a full Member of the Association of Reflexologists in 1997.
This is why I have the letters MAR after my name. It means that I work to the code of practice and ethics, which the Association has established, to maintain the highest level of professionalism in the field.

In 1998, we moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and I set up my practice, “Santa Feet”. Since that time, I have practiced and taught reflexology classes at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, and at the Santa Fe School of Massage.
In 2005, I developed a 150-hour reflexology certification program, and graduates are now practicing nationally in a number of states.
I am intent on promoting a clear understanding of reflexology in the United States, and particularly in New Mexico.
